Zero stars - During pandemic - This family owned business took our student's trip money - not refunding- Oh they did offer a NDA to not tell anyone they gave some money back. I have paid for this right to share our experience with everyone that Interact travel will not take care of there customers - mainly kids - but only want to make a profit. Terrible company!!! Refused to refund during the pandemic. Gave us our airline money back.... never mind the airline we used were refunding their customers so therefore, the company basically pocketed all of our money. Furthermore, in order to get our airline money back we had to sign a contract that we wouldn't sue them. When I called to complain the women said I should be grateful they game me back my airline money. Wow!!!!!! NEVER use this travel company.
am the parent of a high school senior in WA state whose class had a school-organized trip to Costa Rica this summer that was supposed to take place in June. Interact Travel cancelled the trip on their end, but are refusing to return the trip deposit paid to them in its entirety. Their handbook does not outline a cancellation policy where it is the company, not the customer who cancels the trip, but they are treating it as if we cancelled.
