I visited Bianca at Intellitec for a complicated hair color treatment. She did a great job. She followed her instructors recommendations and guidance and my color turned out GREAT!
I had the pleasure of Brooklyn Woerner doing my color and I was so happy with it! She took the time to really learn what I wanted. As a former hairstylist, I was so impressed with her manner, color mixing and the shampoo! Highly recommend Brooke!!
I would rate the salon at IntelliTec zero stars if i could. As long as I have been a college student in Grand Junction, I have been going to IntelliTec to get my hair cut and colored. I have never had a bad experience, until today. I realize these ladies are students, but what happened today is unacceptable. Today, I went to IntelliTec to get a women's hair cut and all over color. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON NO MATTER WHAT!!! I'm going to preface this review by saying that, yes, this a cosmetology school. I can understand a little bit of hair dye getting on some skin, but this is truly unacceptable. My sister went to get her hair colored black at this school today, and came home sobbing to me showing me herself covered in black SEMI-PERMANENT hair dye. Regarding the Cosmetology program: I’m concerned about the culture and level of education being provided at this school. There was an instance where a student made openly disrespectful and stereotypical comments about locs (dreadlocks), including calling them “gross” and suggesting they carry an “ecosystem.” Comments like this are not only false, but rooted in harmful biases about Black hair.
