I fell out of bed and broke my greater triochanter after already having hip replaced June 16, then a spontaneous femur fracture. So a revision on June 26. So, I had surgery for repair Aug 20. My stay at Jim Thorpe was wonderful the nurses, techs,PT, OT, the doctors PAs all were extremely kind courteous and caring. It was my home away from home! This place is horrible, we were referred due to my daughter’s foot issues. The lady up front is beyond rude. She told me the paid was ready to sign AFTER I signed and continued to yell that it was ready after I told her I did. She hates her job and it is beyond obvious

My husband was inpatient at JT for 2 weeks. The nurses are horrible. Night staff is the worst. There are a tiny few that do their jobs (nurses and techs) Make them mad and you can forget about getting meds, water, help….its pretty pathetic. You have someone in JT you need to be there all the time. The OT and PT staff are really good and helpful. I would not recommend this facility as inpatient due to the nursing staff.
