Costs are out of control at this hospital! Simple hernia surgery out of pocket cost over $10K with BCBS insurance. Dr. Stierlin and staff were great though!
I arrived at the ER on Thursday afternoon. I was having severe pain in my upper torso that I couldn't touch because of how bad it hurt. I thought it was a pancreatitis flare up. My pain and my concerns were basically ignored. I was given some pain medicine, they drew some blood, then they sent me home. The next day, Friday, I went back to the ER because my fever had spiked to 102 and the pain was worse than the day before.
