First off, I was there almost 6hrs, one reason being my waiting room wait was an hour (this was a Monday and they were not very busy). Then it took the lab almost 2hrs to get my HCG levels back. I had been there 2 days before for the same symptoms. They showed zero compassion for me when delivering my news, they didn’t check on me regularly, nor communicate. Also, they ended up running more labs - some of which were already in my chart from 2 days before.
I hate seeing the bad reviews for this hospital. 2 weeks ago I was admitted because of abdominal pain and nausea. I had a perforated appendix. I received top notch care from all doctors, nurses and nurse's assistants. Dr Wooderson was my surgeon and he was amazing! My nurses Amity and Karen were great and their assistants Amy and Shelby took great care of me for the 3 nights I was in the hospital. The best medical service outside of Bethesda, MD
1 week later I still have a huge bruise still progressively getting worse after an unsuccessful IV attempt.
Our experience definitely could’ve been better. We were in and out, and my nurse was great, but I have some major concerns. I cut my foot on a prop in grand lake. Needed stitches, and my doctor didn’t clean the wound, or the area in general, before giving me stitches. My husband was also concerned about his bedside manner and jokes that were inappropriate for the situation. During the whole thing, I opted for the numbing shots.
