Dr. Ferrara is amazing. Our middle-school-age son who on the autism spectrum was shutdown from bullying at his public school placement. Dr. Ferrara was patient, kind, thorough and on point with his observations, testing and diagnoses. He presented his detailed findings to the Committee on Special Education. Hardworking, honest, detailed oriented. John began working with my son at age 15. John immediately was able to analyze his deficiencies and provide me with a complete evaluation on how to best improve his academic performance. Most importantly to me, John was able to communicate with my son on how to overcome the frustrations of not performing as well academically instilling confidence in him that has displayed itself in improved grades, and overall academic performance. I would recommend John to any parent.
Dr. John Ferrera is simply excellent at what he does. Beyond his academic background, he has the unique skill of being able to connect with people of all ages. Knowing John over the last 10 years, his approach is consistent and his results are excellent. John's ability to analyze an individual and situation while also providing a safe and healthy environment to communicate separates him from the rest. I would recommend him to anyone I know.
Dr. John Ferrera provided impeccable psychological and psychosocial services to my adolescent now young adult child at the The Child School Legacy HIgh School.
