I first saw Dr. Shetty in 2018 for a bite that felt off and grinding my teeth. She suggested I get a sleep study done. It showed I had very mild sleep apnea and she recommended instead of a mouthguard that I get an oral sleep appliance (mandibular device that pulled my lower jaw forward).
