Good workout Equinox was the second of the three health clubs I have been a member of while living in New York City. I liked it and the time I spent there. I rarely had to wait to use a mchine and the staff was always courteous and helpful.They also serve some food for snacking after a work out and the place was a beehive of socializing and networking. I would guess some marriages came out of members meeting. A fun place but a place where yo can also get a serious workout.
Integral Yoga is the real thing Integral Yoga is part of the Integral Yoga Institute down on 13th St. Integral Yoga is based on the teachings of Swami Satchitananda and is taught in the Hatha yoga tradition. This yoga studio is one of the best kept secrets in NYC. Way before yoga became trendy Integral Yoga on the Upper West Side, formerly on 72nd St., was teaching classical yoga technique.
