Michael ripped me off back in 2018. Delivered 70% of what was promised, said he would refund the difference. Cried poor for a few weeks saying they'd need to give "installments" for my refund, then stopped responding to emails and calls. Also all of Insulguard's 'affiliations' are unverified by the home builders listed on their website/email correspondence. Be careful folks!
We had this wall cavity insulation put in four years ago, plus upgraded the roof insulation. Cost was around $12K. We live in a hot regional town and to date I have not noticed any difference inside the house during summer and winter. Yesterday, with outside temp of 43 degrees, my bedroom was 31! So, not very impressed.
Had Michael and his team around last month to replace the spray in insulation with batts and install x2 solar extraction fans. The job was done ahead of time and the customer service from quote to the completion of the job was fantastic. Highly recommend them.
Insulguard also Perth whirlybirds! Had Michael install 3x commercial whirly birds, paid additional for flashing he seemed very helpful at the time and I paid him in full, well lesson learnt, first rains they leaked very badly pouring water into our workshop. I Called him to let him know they were leaking, he said he would come out and sort them out, I rang him every week and sent messages he didn't respond, I spoke to Troy who basically handballed me back to Michael, this went on for over 2 months ghosting me and saying he w... read more
Michael and his team did the Comfortwall Brick Cavity Insulation in our new double-story build. Since the original enquiry they were very responsive and helpful with the questions we had. They mobilised to site with two days notice; completed the job nice and tidy. Takes the brick walls thermal rating from R0.5 to almost R2.0. We have full double glazing so this was to complement that. Overall very happy with our decision. Thanks Troy, Michael and the team.
