I'm in my last 6 weeks in the HVAC program instructor are good but funding for the program fails miserably they only have one vacuum gage for 15 students ,takes three weeks for everyone to be able to pull a vacuum, HALF the vacuum machines don't work , HALF the recovery machines don't work . The recovery tanks are like ten years old and should be scrapped. My second week there had an instructor, a criminal law teacher, first started yelling at me in the parking lot. Then he proceeds to get off the sidewalk and gets into my personal space ,trying to turn a verbal argument into a fist fight. When I refused to be baited, he then says he's going to get me kicked out of school. ( all I said to him was (" your a hazard on the road going so slow ") this is reason enough to physically fight someone and threatening to get student kicked out of school. I just wrapped up my nursing program at IOT, and I can honestly say it’s been a wild ride! Like any journey, it had its ups and downs, but looking back, I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.
