Horrible way to treat patients. If something is your fault, don’t try to placate/weirdly validate the patient who is distressed for that reason - fix the thing you are at fault for. You know the mutlifactorial way pain is influenced, don’t make it worse for people. I feel worse having had to wait to attend such a horrible experience. Complete waste of time.
