Micaela at Instil Physio helped me prepare for the birth of my third child. She walked me through my pelvic floor therapy, treated my sciatic nerve pain with acupuncture which worked wonders and allowed me to stay as active as I could through my pregnancy, which is something I struggled with in my first two pregnancies. Micaela came highly recommended by another health care provider. She did not disappoint. Micaela listens to you and builds a custom treatment plan to get to the root cause of your issue and get you moving again! I would recommend her to anyone who needs physiotherapy.
I worked with Micaela for about a year while suffering with frozen shoulder. What a pleasure to have a physio who is so incredibly knowledgeable and so willing to share that knowledge! I felt fully informed, fully cared for and fully involved in that care. Each treatment (and yes the home exercises) moved me closer to full use of my dominant arm. I also felt emotionally supported with her positive encouragement through the most painful experience in my life. (Also her treatment space is beautiful!)
I've had a great experience working with Micaela at Instill physio. I'm in the process of trying to diagnose chronic pain I've had for years and appreciate her willingness to do outside research, answer any questions I have, and point me in different directions while keeping an open mind to different treatment possibilities.
