I recently moved here from out of state and needed a Missouri vehicle inspection to register my vehicle. I was charged $75 and told that was the required price. After going to the DMV, I was informed that the state inspection fees are $12 for the safety inspection and $24 for the emissions inspection, for a total of $36.
