I was visiting Laidley on the weekend and woke on Friday morning with a very sore eye, that was developing a lump ion the corner. The Chemist was unable to help without a script or recommendation from an Optometrist or Doctor. I went to Insight Eyewear with fingers crossed I could see someone or make an appointment for later in the day. Colin didn't hesitate to look at my eye immediately and make a recommendation for an ointment that I was able to then get from the chemist. I lost the screw to one of the arms on my glasses.I went into 'Insight Eyewear at Laidley today.I had not bought the glasses from this Optometrist and I was told to go to where I bought them.That would be a 58km drive to Toowoomba, for a five min job.Which is what I told the person in the shop).At 67yrs old I was just feeling a bit unwell...to make that trip. So I said I would pay for the screw...I was then told that the company I bought my specs from sold 'cheap spec frames'.Well some are inexpensive...but some go up to $34... read more
