Got my blood drawn here to run various tests. They couldn’t find my vein in either arm so they used both of my hands. After around 3 vials of blood I passed out because the lady taking my blood did so poorly. Left a huge hematoma on my hand and it is incredibly painful. $$$Beware$$$ Please do yourself a favor and avoid going to this office. I paid more than $300 for a visit that should have only cost me $30. Besides the fact that Dr. Amjed is overwhelmed to do her job right, she might make mistakes submitting your visit correctly to insurance. A $30 visit can turn into hundreds $$$ The frustration will not only be the cost, but also dealing with people that just don't care. Wow, I am really suprpirsed with all of the nasty reviews about this office and then realized they are two (2) Inova Burkes in the same building. Most of the reviews are for the one located in office #120, NOT the one located in #101!!!!!!! The staff in the office #101, have always been polite and professional. I have never heard harsh words from any of them, aimed at me or other patients. They communicate well and seem to care about the patients there. Under no circumstances should you go to this doctor’s office, ESPECIALLY if you are suffering from urgent medical or mental health issues. I struggle to articulate just how bad this practice is. A culture of uncaring dismissiveness and outright cruelty runs rampant throughout the office, from the secretaries to the doctors themselves. The front office staff are profoundly rude.
