This experience has been extremely frustrating , bad and unfair. The inova hospital did not provide clear or honest information about billing or their relationship with Fairfax Imaging Center. I was never told in advance that I would be charged separately by two different companies for what felt like one coordinated service. Both NOVA and Fairfax Imaging have a business alliance, yet they continued sending separate bills without explaining this to me beforehand. Terrible billing. Unresponsive and instead of correcting the filing, sends straight to collection. I now try to avoid anything Inova related like the plague. Unfortunate that they have a monopoly in this area.

I am writing this review to caution anyone who received service from Inova to NEVER prepay for a service. I am a patient who was given a diagnosis that needed immediate attention and required an MRI. I was told I had to prepay for the service and was presented with a bill for over $3,277.50 for the service. They would not do the MRI without prepayment. I was shocked at the amount but paid it due to my urgency to have the procedure done. After consulting with my doctor a few weeks later, he was also shocked. After doing some ... read more
