Excellent staff here. Food service may be a sub-contractor and a learning curve to order, but nursing staff have done a wonderful job helping me get fed.
I have been coming to this hospital everyday for the past week & a half & I have just been appalled at the lack of cleanliness. The bathrooms are never clean, and you can tell that noone is doing rounds more than once a day. I witnessed a glove remain in the same spot on the floor of a unit for 3 straight days before someone finally picked it up. There is always trash on the floors throughout the hospital. Inova Fairfax is the finest medical facility I have ever experienced. The doctors on my team are well beyond exceptional. My care is challenging and requires incredible coordination between these specialized doctors. They are always knowable of the latest medical advancements, optimize technology for the betterment of their patients, and yet remain focused on my individual care. I was airlifted in from a severe car accident, broken femur and many other injuries. Trauma team and Doctors were amazing. Surgery went well got everything fixed. Once i left that and went to the 8th floor for recovery thats when it went all down hill. The nurses were absolutely atrocious. They were rude, didn’t communicate between shifts, would take forever to come in when i called. Im so thankful 🥹 with the hospital and staff for taking a Good care of my son I spend 4 days with him and every one all the nurses and doctor who were there for me and son God Bless Ya’ll and give more strength to continue helping people one of the best hospital I been thank you everyone that was there for my son i really appreciate all the effort
