My brother was admitted to Inova Fairfax for sever depression, hoping he would receive proper care and finally stabilize. Unfortunately, his hospitalization was extremely disappointing from start to finish. After days in the unit, he was discharged in the exact same condition he went in. I had a very poor experience. I came for a mundane asthma problem after hours. All I needed was a few hours with a nebulizer or equivalent. It’s not what happened at all. They refused to discharge me and kept me through the night and next morning, submitting me to a lot of very expensive tests I neither needed nor wanted (Including for my heart…?!?)
