Update: to add to how little Inova cares about people, their supervisors denied my request for a self-pay discount, simply because I have insurance, even though it covers nothing in the ER, and they were told that repeatedly. This facility and Inova in general should be ashamed. TLDR: this is a for-profit facility, and a racket. They do not care if you can afford anything, they only care how much money they can extract from you. We came in the afternoon and were triaged in 15 mins. 10 mins after we were in the room. The nurses and PA were phenomenal and were gentle with the procedure. The facilities are new and clean. We were attended by Karen, a PA, and the nurse was Rachel B. They were super attentive.

TLDR: this is a for-profit facility, and a racket. They do not care if you can afford anything, they only care how much money they can extract from you. They outsource all of their specialists, so you'll pay a separate bill for everything, so that Inova can claim their charges aren't high, and to screw you out of any reasonable payment plan.
