Yesterday, I had diarrhea and vomiting, so I decided to go to the emergency room. I just wait for few minutes in the lobby and they called my name, I was taken care of by two wonderful nurses "Ginny G., and Sheila B.," who were not only professional but also incredibly kind to me. While I was there, I experienced severe panic attack cramps that usual lasted for about 20 minutes, but "Ginny G" guided me through a breathing technique, and thanks to her help, the attack stopped within five minutes. I have a new level of respect for the doctors I’ve worked with in my career. They were all TOP NOTCH. My hope for our healthcare system makes me sad. It’s my first time in this ER fairly new to Virginia and I can tell you I am not impressed. My husband is in severe pain. He’s been here for three hours on an uncomfortable bed. They didn’t offer a blanket. No one‘s coming to give us results from urine or bloodwork, and the staff at the desk seemed very bothered when I asked for assistance with something. Uuugh.
