I recently visited Tyson's Emergency Room My first interaction was with a lovely young lady at the front desk. She explained that complimentary valet parking was available, but also let me know that I could self-park in the space out front. I appreciated having the choice, as I prefer not to have others drive my vehicle, although the valet option was a nice convenience. The wait time was excellent I was seen in less than five minutes. Not very good for people who need to be seen immediately due to Respiratory and heart issue. I never even got to see anyone or they never saw me. I had to leave because the receptionist area was filled with a few people. They were chit, chatting and laughing and I expressed that I was out of breath and needed oxygen. Love Dr Gonzalez. However, he prescribed some medication but it is not filled yet after two weeks. I believe Walmart is having the same issue I keep checking with them and they are also not getting any response from the office. I have tried calling the office multiple times and I have pressed every prompt from scheduling to infectious disease and NO one answers the phone I let it ring till it hangs up on you. I had a knee injury after I slipped and fell on asphalt pavement. Dr. Rachel and Nurse Yolanda were wonderful in assisting me with this injury. I was in pain and not feeling my best! They cleaned and examined the wound. Took me for x-rays, all the while explaining everything step-by-step. Yolanda even held my hand while a shot was administered. LOL. I am a big baby when needles are involved! Anyway, they were very caring and empathetic of my situation. They made a bad situation much better!
I have been using Advent Health recently. They have been an awesome experience. The Advent Health Imaging Center was exceptional. I went to Retreat Doctor's Hospital for an outpatient procedure. I was very nervous as to I had bad luck with surgery and anesthesia in the past. My treatment was exceptional from the time I stepped in the door. The whole staff, doctors, and nurses were extremely professional, kind, and reassuring. I would highly recommend this hospital.
Dr. Luke Johnson is extremely professional: communicates effectively, listens attentively, and makes me feel comfortable. He uses simple language and examples, making complex information easy for me to understand. I appreciated that he takes time during my visit, to help me understand all my health issues! My doctor, Dr. Fernandes, has been my doctor for over 3 years. She got me through lung cancer and I have been in remission for 2 1/2 years. She is very intelligent and knows her "stuff" but more meaningful to me is her bedside manner. She takes her time with me at my appointments and I never feel rushed. She is so unassuming and does not display an ego. Her assistant, Anna, is also great. She knows what she's doing and is very personable.
