My husband was transferred there from an INOVA ER in Fairfax. Parking was a nightmare as the spaces are about a foot narrower than standard. I driv3e an SUV. Finding any place in the building is chancy because it seems the architect was in to fun house style. The rooms and bathrooms are minute. What is smaller than a private room at Fair Oaks Hospital is a shared room in Alexandria. My husband is diabetic, but they refused to feed him or give him his dose of insulin. If I could give less than 1 start I would. Rude nurses. One audibly sighing because I requested a blanket/filthy conditions doesn’t even began to cover what I experienced yesterday. I’ve been to this hospital and never experienced anything like this before. I left and went to a different hospital in the middle of the night the service was so poor. Needless to say I’ll never be returning here again.
