Beautiful, charming, and elegantly decorated in a sophisticated but comfortable way. Gorgeous views of Mendocino Bay and the Pacific. Exquisite cottage flower gardens surround the inn on all sides. One of my very favorite places in the world, which is why we keep coming back!
This was our 5th time staying here! It’s our go to spot every time we come to Mendocino. The daily breakfast is so lovely, the wine and cheese hour is also such a nice touch and the cookies they serve are so delicious! The view from the room can’t be beat. We love it here and will keep coming back. It’s so relaxing!
Wonderful experience overall. 4.5 stars Definitely recxommend. Beautiful rooms. Completely renovated Victorian architecture. Ocean views. Right in town. Exactly what we wanted. Small con: Based on the room we had it was not so private, lots of noise in the hallway and the doors are original so noise travels. But the room was great. No "check in" information was provided when we booked through capital one travel. We arrived at around 7pm and there was no one there to check us in nor did they email us any information on check in process. We were told that the front desk closed at 5pm. We had to call on call emergency line and wait outside for 30 minutes while we figured out how to check in.
