I was referred to this place by my endocrinologist. I have made repeated calls, only to be passed on to the same voice mail box each time and leaving a message. My workplace does not appreciate us being on our phones except during breaks, and I have been playing phone tag for months. Someone finally reached out with an email. However, there are no evening classes, no classes on Friday (my one day off), and the morning classes start at 9:30 am. Apparently, services are only available to people who don't work. After being STRONGLY encouraged to go to the class and being told there would be no charge (they charged me); they had me sign in like I would have been absent from middle school if I didn’t attend. Worst of all, when I told them I skipped my diabetic eye exam for the year, the woman I was talking to clicked her tongue several times to shame me . . . . what, am I in the third grade ? I will NEVER going to a diabetes education class ever again because of this very poor experience.
