Beautiful example of mid century modern / brutalist-influenced architecture. Designed by Los Angeles-based Welton Becket & Associates and completed in 1967, the 30‑story tower’s construction used poured‑in‑place exposed aggregate concrete. Welton died two years after this building was finished construction. The most famous building of Welton Becket is the Capitol Records building in LA.
It was a great event held by the Rochester YMCA. A very beautiful place to hold an event.
