Due to a data administration error during the migration between patent annuity portfolio management companies one of our patents was overlooked for paying our 3.5 year maintenance fee. But before he could do so he discovered my company had an underlying trademark ownership issue that I wanted to be cleared up by our corporate lawyer first.
