My son had his 7th birthday party at Innisfree Farm this weekend. It was great! The horses were well taken care of and friendly. The owner was very helpful, and attentive to how we wanted the party to progress. The kids loved the riding, and had a blast with the games the owner prepared for us to play there. I had my daughters birthday party here and I was very disapponted and embarassed. When I booked the party I was told that there were picnic tables. That was true there were a few small dirty, very dirty picnic tables in a grassy area outside of the barn near where the kids rode the horses. Even more unsettling was the trash that was scattered all around. Plastic wrappers, bottles, paper etc. Most disturbing were the helmets that the children were given to wear. My daughter and I loved the relaxed atmosphere at Innisfree Farm. They edjucated us about horses in a really fun way and encourage us to try things without pushing us to do more than we were comfortable doing. You can tell that they really love their horses, are very knowledgeable, and enjoy teaching people how to communicate with horses. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to have a great experience with horses.
