I see Dr Trudi Richmond here and have found her to be thoroughly professional, competent and focused. My neck is a little beat up from years of service in the Army and without Dr Richmond's procedures and care, I would be an invalid. I cannot recommend Dr Richmond from the Inner West Pain Clinic highly enough. Update: Been seeing Dr Richmond for two years now. Still no change to my opinion above. Dr Richmond is THE pain specialist to see especially for veterans whose trauma can be pretty significant. Big thanks to the Inner ... read more
I tried to book an appointment for a long time at this clinic and was contacted weeks after requesting an appointment through the AI reception, after blowing a tire on the way to the appointment I told them I couldn’t make it and I needed to reschedule, and I was ghosted by the clinic. Extremely rude.
I’ve been attending the Inner West Pain Centre for 5 years now for treatment of chronic neck pain which would not settle. My GP referred me to the centre and I haven’t looked back. My experiences have not only been positive with the pain almost completely disappearing for long periods, but I’ve been nothing but impressed by this wonderful multi-pronged facility. The kindness, empathy, patience, respect and willingness to listen that has been demonstrated by all staff is amazing. From the first interactions with Megan and the... read more
I see now this clinic has low ratings for obvious reasons. I saw Dr Andrew Paterson 6 times over 7 months, spent nearly $4000 on visits during this time, with no pain management plan given and nothing to show for it. The only advice I was given was to use over the counter panadol and a magnesium supplement. You know a pain specialist is really good when their key recommendations for treatment of a debilitating chronic inflammatory polyarthritis pain involves using an over the counter medicine and vitamin supplement, and for ... read more
Sadly there is no holistic approach or care for patients who enquire about available services, or even appointments. There is no way of actually speaking to a real person. Texts sent are also inaccurate. Everything is online or by SMS. Promises are made to no avail. When you have real pain, you don’t need such an inattentive attitude. I wonder whether this is because I declared that I am an age pensioner without insurance? Whatever; I found a facility with empathy to pursue my health journey with. Warning: Don’t go here!!
Inner West Pain Centre has a 3 star rating with 48 reviews.
