Receptionist was cold, unprofessional and wouldn’t answer my question with clarity. I had to ask 3 times if the pain clinic offers diagnosis & am STILL unsure. First time I asked, she told me to check the website. I kindly explained to her that the website isn’t clear about it. Second time I asked, she told me all the pain management they have available. Dr Andrew Paterson is the guy to see. He has helped me immensely with his kind, conscientious and knowledgeable approach to managing my chronic pain. It is very refreshing as a woman with multiple sources of pain to be taken seriously and actually be worked up and be given useful advice. Other specialists in my care team have also commented how thorough and useful your referral reports are. Thankyou for all your care!
I am one of Dr Ho's most regular patients. I have been seeing him for almost 8 years, and I attend hospital regularly for treatment. When my orthopedic surgeon asked me if I'd be willing to see a pain specialist all those years ago, I had no idea what a pain specialist was, but I'm glad that I agreed to see him. During all 4 of my knee surgeries, Dr Ho was visiting me in hospital, sitting down with me and taking his time, even when it was well after 7pm.
