I have been going to this spa for years with no problems. The staff had been top notch, friendly and caring. I had an appointment cancelled with no explaination or communication in the last week. Twice. I also have several prepaid massages to use and to learn staff and clients are locked out without any notice or communication is disrespectful for loyal clients. I booked an appointment online, showed up at the scheduled time… and the place was completely closed. No email, no call, no sign on the door — nothing. What a huge disappointment. This used to be such a fantastic spa — great staff, great service, and always a welcoming atmosphere. Sadly, ever since the new owners took over, it’s been downhill. Management has changed, and the spa itself has also really changed. A number of very skilled and lovely practitioners have left. The therapists that remain seem more stressed out and unhappy. I had suspicions, but during my last session, the receptionist couldn't be bothered to get off the phone to accept my payment. She just gestured to the machine which was already primed to accept payment. I never got a receipt. This really confirmed that this spa has changed for the worse. I'm disappointed.
