I am writing to express my disappointment following a recent visit to Innaloo medical clinic for a medical assessment. Unfortunately, my experience was far from acceptable. I have never encountered such unprofessional conduct from both medical staff and administrative personnel. During my assessment, the doctor left several sections of the required form blank, which resulted in an unnecessary delay in my process. My son had an appointment booked for 12:30 pm and arrived at 12 pm to wait. Only at 12:30 pm was told the doctor wouldn’t arrive until 1:30 pm. We understand delays can happen, but we would have appreciated being informed earlier. During the appointment, I requested a medical certificate for my son to excuse school due to ongoing pain, but this was declined. My experience with a doctor at this practice regarding mental health concerns was deeply disappointing. After discussing my struggles, their only contribution was, "So what do you want?" I was looking for professional advice and support, not to be put on the spot to self-diagnose or prescribe my own treatment. I left feeling like I would have gained more insight from a quick Google search.
