Me and 3 other people rented a 4 bedroom apartment from Inn Town when I attended OSU in the early eighties. We left the place in excellent condition and this horrible company kept all of our security deposit. They do this ROUTINELY. I can't believe this company is still getting away with this. If you rent from Inn Town you WILL NOT get your security deposit back unless you sue them. Read all the negative reviews on here and get a clue. I lived with Inn Town Homes for three years in two different units. I got my full security deposit back both times. They always had maintenance out day of or the next morning when there was an issue. My stove broke one year and they replaced it with a very nice one asap. Loved that I could ship packages to their office and go pick them up. The staff was always very nice and responsive.
I lived in an Inntown apartment on the OSU campus for two years. Overall, it was not a great experience. The apartment was in poor condition when we moved in. It appeared that the appliances had not been moved out during cleaning, as we found dead cockroaches behind the stove and refrigerator. This made it clear that not really a deep cleaning had been done prior to new tenants arriving. The one positive aspect was the maintenance staff. I would give them 0 stars, if possible. My daughter and her friend just finished a year lease with this company. We were expecting our full security deposit back and got 25% of it back. They said there were holes in the wall, dirty carpet and a dirty range. The carpet was stained from the previous tenant, it was not new carpet. We thoroughly scrubbed all the floors and cleaned the place and it was in a better spot then when they moved in. As far as i know, this company is responsible for overseeing the inn town homes properties, as well as, the Iuka park commons property, which was a complete and utter disaster. It’s an absolutely deplorable property with even worse management. The area is unkept, unclean, and unsafe. They have 2 cameras for one of the parking lots, but in the office’s own words “they aren’t very detailed and you can’t see much”. None of your concerns will be taken seriously.
