We recently got married in Savannah, and we stayed at the River Street Inn the week of. Jennifer Henderson is an amazing person, she helped us with our courtesy rate, getting ready space, food order for the girls day of while we were getting ready (food from the Broken Keel was great!!). I had an excellent experience at the River Street Inn. The food at 1882 was awesome. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We had trouble configuring the TV to our liking but Matt was extremely helpful, resolved our concern, and made us feel right at home. Will for sure be staying there again this summer. It’s also in a great location
Despite the "about" info shown, there is no air conditioning in the rooms, not surprising given the age of the building. A small fan was provided which did little to help cool the room on a very warm evening in early July. We also had a strange issue with the water where the water from the cold sink tap would run very hot after a few minutes- no idea why, perhaps we were above the kitchen- that the staff was not able to reproduce when I called later to complain. This place was really cute. We booked last minute and was able to get a queen room. You can only book through the phone, rates range and number available through their website. The room we got was really cute and freshly remodeled, the furniture and decor was absolutely adorable. Very comfortable and the claw bathtub was also nice. Good water pressure and hot water. Bed was comfortable and I liked the sheets. The inn got a historic oldish charm that also came with some challenges. Know that you're across the rail, so while i... read more
