I have NEVER had anything like this!! – This restaurant and its staff are the most amazing combination in exquisite dining I have ever seen. The service was impeccable, the food was something I'd only dreamed of, and the ambiance was divine! No matter where you sit in the Mansion restaurant you will be pleased however, I highly recommend reserving the Chef's Room. You pay more but it is so very worth it! We left feeling MORE than satisfied, knowing we got exactly what we paid for. We plan to go back regularly. If you're thin... read more

cozyy – This is one of the finest restaurants I've ever been to. And that's saying a lot since I am such a miser when it comes to five star ratings. A classic "you get what you pay for," and here, you don't get much for $5... or $50... or $100. At Cafe Carlyle, everything is grade A from ambiance, service, and food. They are flawless.

One of the top hotels in Dallas – The mansion is really nice and they take care of everything. It is definitely pricy but I would say it is worth it as a splurge hotel. Dallas does not have a real central area or geographic feature that hotels need to be near to be nice, the Mansion just tries to take care of everything you might need and make itself nice that way and it really does a good job.

A hugh disappointment, poor service, poor food – My family went to the restaurant to celebrate my husband's birthday. Although reservations had been made far in advance, they had no table set up for us. We were told there was no room in the main dining room so they put us on the enclosed porch. Men were power washing the porch and the furniture and we asked not to be seated there. The hostess looked annoyed and took us back to the main room, which had several empty tables,. and we were made to wait while they set one up. My ... read more

Legendary singers cast the spell at one of New York's most famous cabarets. – In Short What do Eartha Kitt, Bobby Short and Woody Allen have in common? They've all wowed audiences at the Carlyle Hotel's 70-seat supper club. The renovated room (last touched in 1955) shows off the musically playfull Marcel Vertes murals, and dinner-and-a-song lovers can take advantage of chef James Sakatos's menu of upscale classics like foie gras terrine, dover sole and creme brulee. Banquettes rim the room and cast the focal point on the sta... read more

This timeless bar draws up a cocktail list to match. – The Carlyle Hotel's bar and cabaret club has hosted well-heeled travelers and Upper East Siders since opening, in 1929. Restored murals depicting Central Park scenes populated by debonair rabbits and foxes, by beloved "Madeline" author Ludwig Bemelmans, make the room an enduring treasure. The gold-leaf ceiling, coupled with subdued lighting, gives the crowd a healthy glow. Cocktail hour is prime time, when patrons gab over drinks and evocative piano music. (Does someone ... read more
