The keys were in the lockbox. The room was clean. The bathroom needs a total makeover. The tub was peeling,towel rack broken. Tiles cracked. The bed was comfortable. AC worked well. We did not get new towels for our second day. The was a voucher for the restaurant across the street . Food was good. No coffee maker or refrigerator in the room. I would not stay there again.

If your looking for a nice romantic spot in a perfect location then this is the place for you. Staff was very welcoming and the room was just what we had hoped for.

This inn is 200+ years old so of course what you will find is the old house charm. The owner greeted us and was available for any questions/issues etc. What you don’t expect is the ample outlets provided (3rd flr)! Very convenient! As far as other people complaining about the noise from the bar? That confused me, if you are visiting in the summer, you will need the AC and I guess you have superhuman hearing if you can hear the bar music. We had such a relaxing time! Will come again.

We love old buildings and I believe this one was built in 1870. We stayed in the suite on 3rd floor and it was quaint. The view from the small balcony overlooking the canal was magnificent. We came to bike the canal trail and this location was ideal, short drive over the bridge and off we went. We enjoyed cocktails in the yard after a long day of biking. We will return to explore the town.
