Visiting from Canada with my daughter, I accidentally left my passport in my hotel room and didn't realize it until I reached the border. Unable to return home, I immediately tried contacting the hotel. Unfortunately, there was no way to reach hotel staff after 8:00 PM. I drove two hours back to the hotel and repeatedly called the posted after-hours number, but it went straight to voicemail every time. I called more than 40 times with no response. I am beyond incredibly disappointed with the service and communication at this inn. Due to circumstances me and my husband had to create a last minute booking which was confirmed at 8:30 pm. We arrived at the hotel at 9:30 pm after a long flight hoping we would be able to check in and finally relax after the long day of travel. Upon our arrival, there were three other cars parked in-front of the check in area. Called and asked about what the deposit would be on debit cards. Told thr lady I was using the hopper app to rent my room and she tried to convince me that they wouldn't honor the price that hopper is advertising and that its the weekend rates and they wont honor it. They listed their hotel on the app, not me! So why wouldn't I use the app and save money with points? She insisted on having me pay now and upfront over the phone. It made me very uncomfortable and I chose to book elsewhere. Unbelievable.

This is a very strange place, and today, after I called the reception, I completely lost any desire to go there. I called to check if they had extra blankets, because I get cold at night. And I needed to know: if they have blankets, I will stay at this hotel; if they don’t, I will choose another hotel. I had a terrible check-in experience. I arrived at the property, but no one was at the front desk, and repeated phone calls went unanswered. To make things worse, they refused to refund me even though I was unable to check in. It was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable.
