Its a great place to stay if your going to Tucson or have to work on base there are 2 great gyms minutes away and a track for running pretty far from mt lemon or saguaro nat park but not to bad a drive probably 30 min to saguaro and about the same to the base of mt lemon the family rooms are amazing has a kitchen fridge and fully stocked for cooking
I had a quick business trip out to Tucson and decided that I should stay in base for it. I'm glad I did. The staff was amazing and the views of the mountains around that base were breathtaking. If you're a veteran and you're passing through Tucson you have to visit the inns at David Monthan. I was told also that the hotels around town aren't really that safe, and crime is kinda an issue in Tucson.
My first time staying here since retirement. Great room & staff!! Also a good location to access multiple restaurants!!
