We had a disappointing experience at the Inn at Cannon Beach. We were mistakenly given keys to a room at check in that was already occupied. Our family walked in on someone who was in bed. It was an upsetting situation for all parties. The front desk was dismissive when we reported it (saying “things happen”), and, though we were moved to another room, it wasn’t the one we reserved. My family and I loved our experience at the Inn on Cannon Beach. The rooms were impeccably clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfasts were good. You couldn't ask for a better location. We were literally a two minute stroll to the beach and a two minute stroll to a grocery store. All the restaurants and downtown Cannon Beach were just a quick drive away. Thin walls and loud neighbors made this a 8.5/10 stay. Weather was gloomy too. Service is great. Overpriced for the quality like the whole coast. Overall a good experience.
Very friendly staff.
It's a decent place. The cookies and the DVD check out is a plus. The room was clean. The reason why I'm giving them a 4? The bed has absolutely no support. I've waken up every hour, and now my back is killing me. I have to drive tomorrow and this really won't be fun. I did change the rating after speaking to the assistant manager Jeff. He helped me sort out my issue. You go Jeff!
