Way too expensive. I may be old fashioned and not attuned to Truckee prices (or from The City where tradespeople are much less expensive), but $470 to replace a $35-40 thermostat is a bit steep, especially for a “local” company. If, as they claim, there is no extra charge for Reno techs coming to Truckee, then InMotion Mechanical is charging at a higher level for all its techs to cover the overall cost of attracting and using service people from Reno. Incredible knowledge and service…
Edit: Owner called back recently and clarified details about my system issues, and offered some advice. I adjusted the review. Two years in a row I requested that unique items in my hydronic system be fixed. Both years the technician left without fixing the primary issue and didn't clearly explain why. The tech forgot to reset a zone valve so my heat was left on full blast, and I had to go figure that out and reset it myself.
