Updated- I moved this from a 1 star to a 3 star as one of my many complaints has finally been heard. My child's services will no longer go disrupted due to a new process change that started coincidently last week. It would be nice if someone said "we looked into your concerns and addressed your issue" rather than "oh there is a new policy change now" but I am asking for too much here. It's too bad that IEHP is practically the only game in town for Medi-Cal coverage in this area. They waited until just about the last minute to inform their Dignity Health patients that they had not renewed DH's contact and that they needed to find new PCPs. Now, without informing their customers, they've changed their policy regarding scheduling certain types of trips directly with them, instead of with Call the Car. I’ve recently started my future health plan with IEHP Victorville, and am overwhelmed by their wonderful staff, & the many types of exercise classes for young & old, also cooking, art & more. It’s absolutely wonderful….thank you so much💐
UPDATE: It's now a minimum of a 30-minute hold time to reach anyone in their Transportation department to schedule a Behavioral Health appointment trip. Because of all the abuse of transportation benefits by others, IEHP is now hassling me and denying certain transportation. I have never abused this service and don’t deserve to be denied transportation to important medical and behavioral health care appointments. Very disappointed. Get it together IEHP it’s not MY FAULT you could not figure out how to stop the abuse!
