I’m not sure if the stylist was in a rush but I felt as if she didn’t pay good attention towards what I wanted in the pictures that I showed. She looked at the pictures for a brief 2 seconds which confused me because any other time I’ve been to a Japanese hair salon, they’ve asked me to airdrop them the images or they have a long look and understanding of the cut. Just a warning to other girls annd boys about this place 🥲 I was really excited to book with stylist Hikaso after seeing good reviews, but he completely ruined my friend’s hair!! After a service that cost almost $200, she left with greasy hair, no real results, and hair that became impossible to brush properly. The worst part is that the stylist went on vacation right after and said there was nothing he could do, while the salon didn’t care at all or try to fix the situation. Extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, my experience wasn’t good. After Tokyo treatment, my hair became more frizzy, oily, and started shedding more. I waited as recommended, but nothing improved. I wasn’t warned that the treatment might not suit my hair, and for nearly $200, this is really disappointing. I tried to resolve it calmly, but only received generic responses with no real solution.
