as of about a year ago I started with this new PCP and have really benefit from the 1 on 1 approach vs these other large practices here in the Richmond area whereby you seem like a # in a mass of clients pushed thru each day with their short interaction time with physician and then (in my case) just adding prescriptions to see about fixing problem/s. We are making such great progress on my daughter’s health in a very short time. This is so encouraging after years without answers from previous providers! I have already encouraged two other people in my life to reach out for service and will continue to do so. Joining is the best possible decision I could have made for my daughter.
Although I have had very good experiences with traditional Western medicine, working with a Functional practice has some wonderful differences which really work for me. Time is probably the biggest difference, as in there is plenty of time with the provider. Another major difference is that the approach is incredibly personal. InHealthRVA designs a protocol based on my needs as an individual. I no longer feel that I am being fit into a statistical model. I highly recommend this practice.
Both Tressa and Magdelena are attentive, accessible, highly knowledgeable, and kind. They have taken such great care of me and my many illnesses through timely diagnostic work, acupuncture, IV therapies, etc. They also have extensive knowledge of other providers in the area. If they can’t fix it, they know someone down the street that will take care of you- and well. I would highly recommend their care to any one who is struggling to take care of their health.
