Especially glad tonight that this Ingles has installed checkout counters that give the clerks good ergonomics. In fact, I was thrilled to see this. We shoppers unload our carts once or twice a week, so it's not a big deal to do it. The clerks must have been bending, twisting, and lifting hundreds of times a day, and hurrying too. This is so much better. I've never done this work myself, but I know ergonomic basics and I'm glad to see Ingles protecting its staff.

This location and the amazing people who are staffed here are the epitome of amazing costumer relations. Not only do they seek to go above and beyond to make customers feel comfortable and informed, they work with and support small businesses right here in your hometown!! Customers are usually very happy with everything from the selection to the customer friendly atmosphere. I enjoy the variety of people who shop at Ingles. This store is a social center for most of the citizens of Clarkesville, and I enjoy being a part of it.

Groceries are well, about the same at any of the larger chain stores What sets this store apart is the awful treatment they give to their employees. A lot of folks in the area are forced to work here due to lack of jobs in the area. They pay minimum wage with little to no benefits but its really their lack of compassion for their own people that disgusts me. Most recently, they fired a long time employee for eating 1 donut that was given to him by another worker. Seriously shameful!!!!!!
