Just be advised that the triage and scheduling staff will be extremely difficult to work with. NYU has created a gatekeeper job to create/keep unnecessary jobs by filtering the numbers of patients who can visit a doctor. This review does not reflect the doctors at the location, but as a warning for others who want to schedule visits for general conditions and/or other conditions as the NYU Langone profile expands and cannot keep up with the number of patients. Disappointment.
I never got to go here. I don't understand the point of being this "great" IBD center if they won't help diagnose complicated cases. I have a long GI history and several Dr's have told me to go to an IBD specialist so I tried this place and I can't because I don't have a confirmed diagnosis even though their website in several places say they diagnose. One of the dumbest things I've ever heard.
They only treat already diagnosed IBD cases. I was told they don’t take cases that require complex diagnosis which is surprising for what’s supposed to be a comprehensive IBD center
