We haven’t eaten there yet but intend to the next time we are in town. The other day we had a flat tire and had to park behind the diner while we were waiting for help. A kind young lady from the diner brought us 2 Large cups of ice water, which was really appreciated since we had basically run out of the water after being out all day. We just want to thank her and the staff for their kindness. It really meant a lot. Like I said the next time we’re in that area we plan to stop in and have lunch.
The French onion soup was better than fancy restaurants. Their broth was amazing where other places it taste like imitation beef bouillon this beef flavor broth was as tasty as a roast beef.
The florentine wrap special is the bomb! Roasted red peppers, chicken breast, spinach, and feta in a spinach wrap (or choose your own wrap). It's my 'go to' for lunch here. Fries are good as well. They have a crunchy exterior and a soft middle the way I prefer.
We love this place. We found it by chance, looking for an all day breakfast spot while driving home thru Delaware County. One of us always has the large breakfast combo. I have the Monte Cristo sandwich. Food is great. A huge variety of choices. They have special soups each day; that's what I enjoy. It's a diamond in the rough. Slightly hidden from the road, behind the Chase bank; give it a try. The staff is so nice and friendly too. It is not close to home, but we make a point to go there whenever we are near.
