I resolved nothing after three visits with this provider; essentially he refused to treat me or hear me out; indicative of that was the fact he did not even bring the lab he ordered to our last meeting. It was absolutely degrading to have to take off work, think I am going to heal/be taken care of by a professional, to only have him tell me that I don't deserve his attention to detail. This review is almost 50 years late but I was recently reminded of how Dr Poretz helped me - a then very sick 13 year old - learn what I was suffering from. I recall him telling my mom that most of his chronic fatigue patients were 18 and older. I was the exception to that rule. I had to see him weekly and he provided great guidance to my single mom on how to help me recover. I spent a majority of my 13th year in bed sleeping or very sick. I tried scheduling an appointment and they refuse to schedule me an appointment for a serious infection I’ve had for over 2 months now that they had a referral and records from from my PCP. They are denying to provide care to me when I am very sick with an infectious disease and then put me on hold on the phone to do nothing and to give me a “time out” because I was upset.
