Called and advised I was running out of medication and asked if there was a need for bloodwork before I scheduled the appointment. I was told they would contact the nurse and call me back and scheduled my appointment. No one called me back for over 2 weeks and when I called to confirm the day before my appointment I was told the appointment was not booked and the nurses “answered the question” internally but no one bothered called me while in the same breath not acknowledging that I was running out of medication at all. I am so glad I avoided switching to this practice. I am in the process of switching from my current doctor because he stopped caring about the level of care he provides his patients. I called this office and was told that they would not see me without a referral. My insurance does not require referrals, and I was not going to ask the doctor that I was switching from for a referral. The lady I spoke to on the phone couldn’t care less. Thank you for keeping me from making the same mistake twice!

Helpful tip while researching: This is a referral-based practice that treats only active infections. They do not provide diagnostic testing and do not specialize in Lyme disease, mold or parasites. It's not part of INOVA.

I resolved nothing after three visits with this provider; essentially he refused to treat me or hear me out; indicative of that was the fact he did not even bring the lab he ordered to our last meeting. It was absolutely degrading to have to take off work, think I am going to heal/be taken care of by a professional, to only have him tell me that I don't deserve his attention to detail.
