The Dr is nice and understanding and all but my goodness how unprofessionally late she is to every appointment. It is ridiculous! The first few times I was understanding… but every single visit is not acceptable. And mind you I get the very first appointment. She walks in 35 minutes late talking to everyone in the office and then takes her another 20/30 minutes to call us back. We are never notified that she is running late. If you know she’s always late start booking her for later appointments! Please work on this!!

I scheduled my mom with Dr. Velasquez over a month ago. She had been referred for a second opinion due to her condition, so we were very hopeful about this visit. I got a call the day before the appointment letting me know that Dr. Velasquez was not taking any new patients because her schedule is full. Again, this appointment was scheduled over a month ago. Very unprofessional for this provider to wait until the last minute to cancel the appointment, we could have scheduled with another provider during that time.

I have been going to Dr Jo Velasquez for my children for years and have has a wonderful experience with her and the staff. Everyone is friendly and professional.

Dr. Jo and her staff have been amazing with medication management for my children. She listens and respects my wishes regarding my children and helps me to advocate for them.
