Decided to try Indigo for a welcomed change from the standard Edgartown restaurants. This is a outstanding Indian authentic restaurant that rivals the best places in Boston or Cambridge. We were a large party of eight that sampled half a dozen appetizers and 8 entrees. All the dishes were expertly seasoned for taste not heat. Not eating here again! Nice ambience though. We ordered a Lamb biryani, got Veg Biryani on top of lamb curry. Tandoori chicken was not served hot and was very chewy. We expect prices to be high in an island but this was way to expensive for the quality to food provided. Main courses are double the price and deserts are 4 times the cost anywhere else in Massachusetts.
Wonderful food AND drinks, and a lovely addition to our island. They’re year round which is so nice to have as an option for a cozy meal in the winter! The addition of Tricia, karaoke, and dj nights is a plus too! Go check them out.
Really friendly, attentive staff. Flavorful food and kid-friendly. Good late night entertainment and a strong year-round addition to MV!
I am so happy that there is finally an Indian restaurant on Martha’s Vineyard AND the food is amazing. If you want a restaurant that serves flavor and great service come here.
