RecommendedThis is my favorite community art and teaching space. The professional teachers and potters have created a welcoming environment for new students to learn right beside them as they are doing their work, and there is a focus on the fundamentals of throwing on a wheel. As a beginner I appreciate feeling welcome and encouraged.
They are great. It is deeply relaxing and pleasurable.
Had a fun date night here the other day (Sip & Spin). The studio owner Ned Levering happened to be around for that workshop. Ned is a great teacher who is very clear, observant and upbeat! We knew some very basic stuff and were given space to explore ideas as hoped, and happily received Ned's timely and useful tips at times. Will definitely consider looking into more offerings at Indigo Fire in the future. The studio space is nice and well maintained; and there is plenty of parking.

This review is long overdue but....I had organized a company team building event at Indigo Fire and Suchi and her staff were amazing to work with! They accommodated us when we had a scheduling conflict, their instruction at our event was great and it was just overall a fun experience! Suchi was kind enough to bring our pieces to us when they were done so we didn't have to take time out of our work day to glaze and pick up our creations! Wonderful learning experience... I am now going to visit often!
Just started taking a pottery class here. I adore my teacher Mark, he is witty and fun. I especially like the shop dog Lola, her underbite is the best! I feel like I've found a hidden gem.
