I've used a number of different Indigo services over the years, from developmental editing to proofreading to consultation. Their service is consistently excellent: timely, professional, high quality. They are not cheap (you get what you pay for), but for those on a budget, they offer several of their services à la carte. If you don't see an à la carte listing, it's worth contacting them to ask.

I've been freelance writing for over a decade and have had involved editors but none have helped me more than Ali. She helped me edit a draft of a project in a way that helped me produce higher quality drafts going forward. She is not a copy editing entrepreneur. She understands the craft of writing and connecting with an audience while, as the author, remaining true to yourself.
