Was looking around before an appointment one afternoon last week. Came into the shop about 4pm and was not greeted at all by the staff member who was working. I did a few laps of the shop but decided not to buy anything considering I couldn’t even get a “hello”. Really disappointing as staff from all the other gift/florist/fashion stores up the street were all so kind and welcoming.
The staff member (older woman) did not greet any of us (4 adults) when we entered. She was looking at her mobile phone. Even after she no doubt noticed us she made no attempts to greet or say any pleasantries. We wanted to buy some jewellery and asked for assistance. She came over and did not say a word to us the entire time, she seemed irritated about having to do anything to help. I ended up putting back 3 items and only bought 1 thing because she was so rude. The vibe is so welcoming and fresh, you can really feel the personal touch in every corner of the shop. The new owner is genuinely lovely, happy to help, and has such a great eye for curating beautiful gifts and homewares. There was something particular I was after and she went out of her way to source it and post it to me! Much appreciated!
Rude old lady who was working there yesterday she didn’t greet customers at all when coming into the store. To top it off she has her little rat dog there barking at customers who were trying to shop… Learn some customer service skills and leave your rat at home
Such an amazing little shop! The owner is lovely, thank you for taking such good care of me instore! Speaking with the owner she has recently purchased the store and made some changes. There is so much gorgeous gift ideas and homewares. I went away with a lovely gift which was personalised for my friend. So fantastic!
