An out of state friend recommended getting a silk press and I put it off thinking I’d never find a place suitable for my hair here in Utah. That was until I found Rhys Hair Loft. Chimere was absolutely amazing. My daughter has biracial 3C type curly hair. We were nervous going in as months before my daughter had a bad haircut experience at another salon. Chimere handled all of our concerns with confidence and grace and did an absolutely amazing job on her hair cut. She was patient and explained everything she was doing so we knew exactly what to expect. Came in for a relaxer on December third and woke up with my head being wet due to extreme chemical burns all over my scalp that were oozing puss. After messaging the owner who did it she never said sorry and tried to blame it on my extensions and then a allergic reaction (when I’ve had this done since I was 6 and never had issues until now). Coming over to this barber/salon was a whole experience! They sure know how to make you feel special. I loved being able to come into a place where I am welcomed and cared for. From the detail to my hair to the conversations! 5 stars for the staff, their work and services! You have a new customer!

My mom came for a service and loved the experience from start to finish! Very professional and on time!! Great black owned hairstylist in Salt Lake City! Beautiful space very clean! Stylist not only washed, cleaned and trimmed my moms hair, but she even did a take down of my moms previous install, sanitized the hair and brought it back to life! Thank you! They also do men haircuts, kids styles, braids along with sewin installs!
